Allison Tepper is a Registered Dietitian and has been an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Health Studies since 2015. Allison completed her Masters Degree in Health Promotion Management at American University. While at AU her thesis research focused on the effects of front of package labeling on food choices in the grocery store of lower socioeconomic areas of Washington, DC.
Allison owns a nutrition counseling private practice in the DC Metro area and specializes in intuitive eating, eating disorders, GI conditions, food allergies and intolerances and more, with a focus on helping clients have a healthier relationship and more sustainable approach to food. She brings her knowledge and experience into her classroom teaching and is passionate about her work with both clients and students.
