Bio: Wali Reheman is a doctoral student in the Department of Government at American University. He studies comparative politics and political methodology with a concentration on ethnic and religious identity politics, political socialization and public opinion. Wali currently works with Dr. David Lublin, assisting in his work on minority representation and inclusion. He also works with Dr. Elizabeth Suhay to examine how meritocratic values evolve across four generations of American immigrants and how they affect American immigrants’ policy preferences.
