Megan O'Donnell Bell, Legislative Affairs Director, Boeing
Bell is a WeLead2010 alum and last spoke at the launch of WeLead2021. She is a well-respected and effective Capitol Hill expert with 15+ years of experience in the public and private sectors. She currently serves as the Director for Navy Authorizations within Boeing's Legislative Affairs division. She specializes in federal budget and appropriations policy, congressional procedures and political strategy with experience in both communications and fundraising. Before joining Boeing, Bell spent twelve years in the U.S. House of Representatives working for former House Appropriations Committee Chairman Harold 'Hal' Rogers (R-KY-5) in various capacities, culminating in a 5-year stint as his chief of staff. Prior to that, she worked for several years in Communications and Government Affairs for the Rural Broadband Association.
Bell earned a Law degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and English from Georgetown University, and plays on the Georgetown alumni softball team with her husband.
