The Health Law Legislative and Regulatory Process Colloquium is held biennially. The Spring 2021 colloquium will be entirely virtual and asynchronous, featuring experts on four case studies.

On Friday, Oct. 2, American University Washington College of Law Health Law and Policy Program, in partnership with ChangeLab Solutions and the Saint Louis University Institute for Healing Justice and Equity (IHJE), presented “Health Justice: Engaging Critical Perspectives in Health Law and Policy” – a virtual conference that addressed structural racism, poverty, and other social determinants of health.

On Friday, May 31, American University Washington College of Law’s Health Law and Policy Summer Institute held the first event of its annual summer lunch and learn series, entitled “Health Care Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities.”

On Feb. 22, 2019, American University Washington College of Law’s Health Law and Policy hosted “The Opioid Crisis: Rethinking Policy and Law," bringing together leading experts from across the country in the fields of public policy, law, economics, medicine, public health, law enforcement, and emergency response to re-imagine policies and laws related to the opioid epidemic.
