On October 4th, AULR is hosting their Federal Circuit Symposium. In the morning, the patent panel will cover hot topics including the future of the PTO after Loper Bright, AI in patents, and march-in rights. Authors from AULR's upcoming Federal Circuit issue will present their research. In the afternoon, the veterans law panel will chart the path of Bufkin v. McDonough in anticipation of the case's oral arguments at the Supreme Court this term. The trademark panel will explore geographical marks and the recent Federal Circuit case Bureau National Interprofessionnel du Cognac v. Cologne & Cognac Entertainment.
