Professor Christine Haight Farley to be a speaker at the upcoming conference titled, ”Section Two Small: Exploring the New Constitutional Limits on Trademark Law,” to be held at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, in Concord, NH on  Nov. 3, 2023.

Farley will discuss the Vidal v. Elster case, which the Supreme Court will hear this term. The case will review the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision that a provision in the Lanham Act that prohibits the registration of marks that identify the Present violates the First Amendment.
