Professor Vicki Phillips will receive the esteemed Champion of IP Award from the DC Bar.

On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the Intellectual Property (IP) Law Community of the District of Columbia (DC) Bar will honor Professor Victoria Phillips for her significant contributions to the field of intellectual property. Professor Phillips will receive the esteemed Champion of IP Award.

The annual Champion of IP Award celebrates those who have impacted IP policy, fostered innovation, and passionately advocated for intellectual property rights. Professor Phillips is the Director of the Glushko-Samuelson IP Clinic and teaches courses exploring intellectual property law's intersection with public policy, emphasizing how legal frameworks can adapt to technological advances and societal changes.
