During this 10-week program, we will have a series of practical exercises oriented to develop and improve your verbal and communication skills in Spanish. We will emphasize both on client interaction and trial advocacy with a particular focus on U.S. immigration law. For that goal, all 10 sessions will have as basis a case study relating to U.S. asylum law and human rights. Every student will have the opportunity to actively participate in the different sessions during a 10 weeks "trial", from client interview and witness preparation to oral and closing statements.
