Jayesh Rathod Receives 2023 SALT Great Teacher Award

Professor Jayesh Rathod, director of AUWCL's Immigrant Justice Clinic, received the Society of American Law Teachers (SALT) Great Teacher Award during the American Association of Law Schools (AALS) Annual Meeting in San Diego, California in January 2023. After receiving the award, Professor Rathod commented, "It was such a joy to be in the company of beloved ... colleagues, family, and friends. I'm so grateful to my nominators, who thought me worthy of this recognition, and to the AUWCL community, which has supported me and allowed me to grow and thrive as a teacher. I've also had the gift of learning from many talented co-teachers over the years -- and, of course, from phenomenal AUWCL students. Thanks to all of you!"
